Our Kickstarter campaign to publish the 3rd issue of Bodypainting Artventures magazine is currently underway: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/artfashionstudio/bodypainting-artventures-magazine-issue-3

Below is the stunning image of Katlin Tucker preselected as the cover for the upcoming publication. She was painted by a dynamic duo of Scott Fray & Madelyn Greco with assistance from Frank Orthel and Tashi Honnery.

This issue of Bodypainting Artventures magazine will have an in-depth retrospective of the Living Art America competitions with many incredible original artworks by top artists from around the world.

The second featured event is the World Bodypainting Festival 2021. This year, WBF added a new exciting category to its World Awards – Camouflage Bodypainting. In this new category, competing artists test their skills in hiding and camouflaging a body with the help of classic painting technique in front of a given background or location.

Our featured artist is none other than Alex Hansen, a 7-time World Champion with a very extensive resume in the fields of bodypainting and makeup artistry. He worked in several big Hollywood productions including “300”, “Death Race”, “The Aviator”, “The day after tomorrow” and “Immortals”.

Guest photographer for the third issue is talented Karin Upahl. She is a two-time World Champion in Digital Composing at the World Bodypainting Festival. Karin also took some of the most incredible photos of The Carnival of Venice.

Our featured model is beautiful Mia Nguba from Equatorial Guinea. One of her photos from the first Equatorial Guinea Bodypainting Festival “broke the internet” and was viewed by more than 1.5 million people!

We hope you enjoy our little preview of what’s to come in our third issue of Bodypainting Artventures magazine. Be sure to check out more information on our official Kickstarter page and tell your friends about it. There are many exciting rewards for our supporters; the campaign ends on December 12th, 2021.
